The latest version of the SETI Net Spectrum Analyzer can be downloaded Here... Start the Spectrum Analyzer and turn on the Run button.  You should see whatever is coming from your audio card. Adjust the Vertical Sensitivity and  FFT size as needed.   If you are having trouble getting anything on the screen or the wrong audio channel refer to the Audio System block diagram (Help | Block Diagram).

The AutoSave function will save the audio as a WAV file based on the period you select.  This operates with or without the Rcd button being on. Select the SML menu item.  This will allow you to add SML (SETI Markup Language) text that you have created with the SETI Net File Manager.  The SML will be imbedded inside the WAV and JPG files created by the Spectrum Analyzer as it operates.

Tug the two green Guard Bands to where you would like them.  Only the area between the Guard Bands will be analyzed by the Waterfall function.

.

When you press the Waterfall switch the Spectrum Analyzer will produce an image like the one below.  The image is coded one bit/bin on the spectrum display so the width of the image is dependant on the Spectrum Size selected.  A size of 32 K will produce a *very* wide and *very* slow waterfall.  A 1024 FFT will produce an image that fills about 1/4 of your screen.

The height of the image is set by pulling the image tug points as desired. I usually set it to fill 1/2 my screen and I have dual monitors so the wide waterfall fills both screens.

The Waterfall Tool Bar is where ET is detected and reported

You can hear the ET Tune Here.
