2007-05-13T17-19-16.WAV (25 Meg file) Notes: - Running at normal resolution (10 Hz/bin) this signal alarmed while searching HIP 1499
- I moved the antenna until the signal peaked and noted its position. It is in the constellation Monoceros
- I increased the resolution to 1.34 Hz/Bin and measured the Doppler without my own chirp running. Over a 10 minute collection period (the above JPG) the Doppler moved down 8 bins or about 11 Hz.
- The earths Doppler at this pointing angle is 0.1313 Hz/Sec. For 10 minutes that's 79 Hz
- This signal does have Doppler but it is much less than that caused by the earths rotation.
- Signal is falsified.
