How To View the SETI Data Tags within a JPG image:

  1. Download the  SETI Net File Manager (no charge) to your computer.
  2. Select a thumbnail image (below or anywhere you find one) for further investigation.  Left click on it and it will expand to its original size
  3. Right Click on the full size image and select 'Save Picture As'.  Store it in any convenient directory on your machine.
  4. Start the SETI Net File Manager and from the top menu select  JPG File | Open and navigate to the file just downloaded (or drag 'n drop).
  5. Open the file -  You should see the same image but inside the File Manager.
  6. Select the Title Block tab.  This will show the SML attached to the JPG file.  Select the other tabs to view the complete SML data.

How To Play the WAV data back and view the spectrum:

  1. Download the SETI Net  Spectrum Analyzer  (no charge) to your computer  and start it.
  2. Left click on the WAV file and select Save Target As...  This will download the WAV file to your computer.
  3. Navigate (using  Windows Explorer    ) to the just downloaded file and left click on it.  It should start to play on your computer.
  4. The audio should also appear in the Spectrum Analyzer.  Pressing the 'Water' switch should recreate the original waterfall JPG.
